Pasta with Fresh Tomato & yum yum Sauce




Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) quinoa pasta
2 cups cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup yum yum sauce (Japanese white sauce)
finely chopped fresh basil
1 red onion
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Red cooking wine 



Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place the quinoa pasta in the pot, cook 6-10 minutes, until al dente, drain and rince.
  2. In a large pan heat up the oil and stir in the garlic, red onions and the whites of the green onions.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper, and stir in for a couple minutes. 
  4. Toss the cooked pasta in pan and mix in the yum yum sauce, nutritional yeast, green onions and a dash of cooking red wine, stir in. 
  5. Turn off heat and top with basil. It's ready so serve!

 Quinoa pasta - ingredients - Non-gmo corn flour, and organic quinoa flour
 Boil water - add oil and boil noodles for 6-10 minutes until al dente 
chop ingredients
 saute onions
 add in tomatoes, salt and peooer, and cook for a few minutes
 add in cooked pasta
 top with nutritional yeast and green onions and stir in
 stir in the yum yum sauce, give it a dash of cooking red wine
 Top with chopped basil and it's ready to serve!
 I paired it with some steamed and sauted in garlic asparagus
