Crochet Blanket 11 - Lemon Lime & Coal

Total time = 10 hours 10 minutes
Measurements - 64” x 42”


· 11 mm crochet hook or P hook
· bernat® blanket™ yarn Lemon Lime x 3.5 & bernat® blanket™ yarn Coal x1.5

Pattern: 70 rows – 46 rows of Lemon Lime & 24 rows of Coal black

Ch 75 (Or chain any amount in groups of 6+3 until you get the width you like)

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, repeat from * across, ending with a sc. Ch 3, turn work Away from body.

Row 2: 2dc in first st (same spot where you chained up 3), *sk 2 sts, sc in next st (middle dc of group of 5 dc from prev. row), sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st (sc from prev. row), repeat from * across. Ending with 3 dc in last st, change color in last st. ch 1 with new color, turn (See video for guidance)


Row 3: sc in first st, *sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, repeat from *across. Ending with sc. Ch 3, turn

Rows 4-56: Repeat rows 2 and 3 for the rest of the pattern. Changing color according to design. 

Note- When changing color I left a little bit of a tale and tied a knot with the new color tail to secure and decided to leave it as a fringe for the sides of the blanket.

Pattern:
Ch 74 (Or chain any amount in groups of 6+2 until you get the width you like)

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, repeat from * across, ending with a sc. Ch 3, turn work Away from body.

Pattern:
With Lilac
Ch 110 (Or chain any amount in groups of 6 until you get the width you like)

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, repeat from * across, ending with a sc. Ch 3, turn work Away from body.

Row 2: 2dc in first st (same spot where you chained up 3), *sk 2 sts, sc in next st (middle dc of group of 5 dc from prev. row), sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st (sc from prev. row), repeat from * across. Crochet Blanket 8 - Vintage White, Country Blue, Plum Purple

Measurements 62” x 57” (6 skeins of yarn total…3 Vintage White, 2 Plum Purple, & 1 Country Blue

·         11.5 mm crochet hook or P hook

·         6 Skeins of Bernat Blanket Yarn 3 Vintage White, 2 Plum Purple, 1 Country Blue






Color Pattern:

12 Rows of White

6 Rows of Plum Purple

2 Rows of Country Blue (2nd row stitch inside V for zig zag -73 dc sts)

1 Rows of White (stitch inside V for zig zag)

2 Rows of Country Blue (for both rows stitch inside V for zig zag)

6 Rows of Plum Purple (return to stitches outside the V)

*then repeat all



Pattern:
Slip knot and chain 74 (multiple of 6+2). (It comes out to 73 stitches per row before turning as of 2nd row)
4th chain from hook place 2 double crochet stich.
skip a chain, 2 double crochet, skip a chain, 2 double crochet stiches and continue along foundation chain
Once you reach the end, 1 double crochet stiches in the last chain
Ch 3 and turn towards body.



1dc in first chain, skip 1 ch, 2 dc and repeat (the 2 dc should be in between two “v” stitches (not inside the “v” until color pattern) from the first row.

In the top chain on the end, place 1 dc. ch 3 and turn

Do 12 rows and switch colors. This should be about a full skein of yarn.
Continue crocheting until 2nd ball is used up… be sure to finish on the end.
tie off end and weave in ends.
