Hummus

Decided to make some home made hummus for my collard green wraps

Ingredients:

  • 1 16 oz can of organic chickpeas or garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 cup filtered water
  • 3-5 tablespoons lemon juice (depending on taste)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 teaspoon garlic/ginger puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe:

Drain chickpeas and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Add 1/4 cup of water from chickpeas. Blend on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.
Enjoy as a dip or in a sandwich...I used it for my collard green wraps...recipe in tomorrow's blog.
