Decided to make some home made hummus for my collard green wraps
Ingredients:
- 1 16 oz can of organic chickpeas or garbanzo beans
- 1/4 cup filtered water
- 3-5 tablespoons lemon juice (depending on taste)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 teaspoon garlic/ginger puree
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Recipe:
Drain chickpeas and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Add 1/4 cup of water from chickpeas. Blend on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.Enjoy as a dip or in a sandwich...I used it for my collard green wraps...recipe in tomorrow's blog.
