Garden update & harvest 8/5/12

8/5/2012 - sun is in the way...but the fence was leaning over even more! Sadly the watermelon snapped off:( second watermelon casualty

8/5/2012 - found another watermelon starting:)

8/5/2012 - 2nd to largest watermelon

8/5/2012 - 3rd and 4th watermelon

8/5/2012 - Hard to view, but the watermelon vine has made its way to the end of the bed all the way to the tomatoes! latched on

8/5/2012 - Harvested the zucchini...and gave it away to a gardener at the lot who helped me secure my fence back up

8/5/2012 - Basil growing well:)

8/5/2012 - Parsley actually growing...thought they died out being overcrowded under the zucchini!

8/5/2012 - 4 of the watermelon visible in this photo...they seem to grow right next to the fence! the one away from the fence is the snapped off one, that was growing at the top of the fence:(

8/5/2012 - The first tomatoes to turn color! chocolate cherry tomatoes

8/5/2012 - Sadly my 2nd watermelon cassualty

8/5/2012 - Harvest - Collards, Red Russian kale, Curled Scotch kale and 2 cucumber (that makes 58 total so far!)
