Garden harvest & update

 7/9/2012 - 5 more cucumbers...making 8 total...

  7/9/2012 - they got to a good size

   7/10/2012 - So excited! my first Moon and Star watermelon sighted! I didn't know any started to grow until just 2 days before when I saw just the one...then found 4! 2 small 2 bigger (slightly smaller than a basketball)

   7/10/2012 - 2nd moon and star watermelon...about the size of a mini basketball

   7/10/2012 - My watermelon jungle...used the cages from the zucchini to keep my watermelon plants from covering my path!

  7/10/2012 - I set my Black Beauty zucchini free from its cages, as it grew right out of it...and was no help in the battle against the squash bugs! Made it too hard to get in there

   7/10/2012 - Chamomile in bloom!

   7/10/2012 - Early Sprouting Purple Broccoli...still getting bigger, no sign of edibles yet

   7/10/2012 - Wasn't happy to see this huge cicada

  7/10/2012 - And wasn't happy to see this huge grasshopper either

 7/10/2012 - tomato plants growing well...no tomatoes yet though, and was glad to see the marigolds surviving! Pepper here looked alil thirsty, only got a little rain the day before at 4am...I was away camping

 7/10/2012 - Marketmore 76 cucumber plants producing wonderfully!

  7/10/2012 - 4 more cucumbers...making 12 total so far! Also harvested some Curled Scotch kale and some Red Russian kale
