Chanca Piedra chai

My healthy version of chai:)  Currently being in the prep phase of another liver flush, I still craved some delicious tea. This past week I've been having black tea on occasion, but Chanca Piedra has such amazing health benefits for the liver and other organs that it's a great alternative, and prepared tastes the same to me!

Ingredients
Real Raw Wildcrafted Changa Pietra tea cut
1/4-1/2 tsp Organic ginger root powder
1/4 tsp Betaine
2 tsp Date sugar
4-5 Cardamom pods
dash of cinnamon
1/3 mug Filtered water
Almond milk
2 tall mugs
strainer
pan to heat tea

Recipe
Fill mug 1/3 full with water. Heat the water until boiling. Add the water back into the cup and add 1 tsp of Chanca Piedra and 5 Cardamom pods.  Stir and let steep for 5-15 minutes...depending on how strong you want it. Then fill up the rest of the mug with almond milk. At this point I like to leave the tea in and reheat it before boil. Stir, then strain out the tea from one mug into the other.  I strain it once from the pan then one more time through the leaves into the other mug.  Add 2 tsp of date sugar. Strain out the date fiber...strain twice.  Add 1/4 tsp of Betaine and 1/4 tsp of ginger and stir in.  Reheat to desired heat. Optional add a few drops of Loving Energy.

About Chanca Piedra

Indigeneous use includes cleansing & toning the liver, kidney & gallbladder, as an anodyne, and as teatment for digestive problems, malaria, diabetes, colds, parasites and influenza.

Nicole Maxwell, author of ‘Witch Doctor’s Apprentice’, considered Chanca Piedra one of the most important Amazonian medicines. Hundreds of clinical studies reveal the truth that this herb is able to prevent and expel kidney & gallstones, protect cells from toxins, heal the liver, lower blood pressure and help diabetes.

In Germany case studies indicate success at 94% in elimination of stones and organ restoration within one to two weeks. It is antispasmodic, and seven times the pain relief of aspirin or acetiminophen. It has strong antibacterial and antiviral qualities showing great potential with Hepatitis B and HIV.

Chanca Piedra contains a wide spectrum of unique phytochemicals including alkaloids, lignans, glycosides, flavonoids, ellagitannins, and phenylpropanoids. Every- one could benefit from utilizing this potent herb as part of their preventative program for health.
They say care needs to be taken to drink plenty of water when you do drink this tea as it is considered a diuretic, and that it is contraindicated if one has a heart condition or takes any heart medication.

Steep 1-2 teaspoons of herb in boiled water. As prevention, drink 1-3 cups per week and 3-4 cups daily to expel stones. Daily use for up to 3 months is considered safe with no known side effects.
