Crochet Blanket 13 - Baby Teal, Baby Lilac & White

Total time = 5 hours 45 minutes
Measurement 47” x 48”


· 11 mm crochet hook or P hook
· bernat® blanket™ yarn 1 Baby Lilac (light purple), 1 Baby Teal, & White x2

Pattern: 50 rows
Alternate with White, Baby Teal and Baby Lilac

Ch 80 (Or chain any amount in groups of 6 until you get the width you like)

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, repeat from * across, ending with a sc. Ch 3, turn work Away from body.

Row 2: 2dc in first st (same spot where you chained up 3), *sk 2 sts, sc in next st (middle dc of group of 5 dc from prev. row), sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st (sc from prev. row), repeat from * across. Ending with 3 dc in last st, change color to Lemon Lime in last st. ch 1 with new color, turn (See video for guidance)

Row 3: sc in first st, *sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st, repeat from *across. Ending with sc. Ch 3, turn

Rows 4-56: Repeat rows 2 and 3 for the rest of the pattern. Changing color every 2 rows

Note- When changing color I left a little bit of a tale and tied a knot with the new color tail to secure and decided to leave it as a fringe for the sides of the blanket.

Crochet Blanket 12 - Inkwell

 I found this yarn at Jo-Ann's and bought all 4 available skeins. After that I couldn't find any more, and it's very difficult to find it online too! But thankfully I got enough to make a blanket:)

Total time = 6 hours 5 minutes
Measurements - 65” x 41”


· 11 mm crochet hook or P hook
· bernat® blanket™ yarn Inkwell x 4

 

Pattern:

Slip knot and chain 72 (multiple of 6). 


4th chain from hook place 2 double crochet stitch.  

Skip a chain, 2 double crochet stitches and continue along foundation chain

Once you reach the end, 1 double crochet stitches in the last chain
Ch 3 and turn.  


1dc in first chain, skip 1 ch, 2 dc and repeat (the 2 dc should be in between the “v” stitches from the first row).

 In the top chain on the end, place 1 dc. ch 3 and turn  

When you run out of the first ball of yarn, tie the end of the 2nd ball together and continue crocheting… trim any ends that are sticking out.

Continue crocheting until 2nd ball is used up… be sure to finish on the end.
tie off end and weave in ends.
